This is an innovative learning program developed specifically for pre school children

"We are different”

YOUNG CHILDREN LEARN BEST THROUGH PLAY, IMITATION AND REPETITION

Acknowledging this. underwater platforms, climbing frames, a wide range of toys and inflatable aids are incorporated into our learning program. Aiming to encourage the child's natural curiosity and thus gaining more willing participation. The child is challenged to learn and develop skills which form the basis of swimming and understanding safer water practices.

The instructor facilitates the child’s learning of swimming through first teaching mobility and buoyancy skills leading to propulsion and breathing. Always aiming to give the child a greater understanding of water safety and the skills required to more safely be able to love and enjoy the water.

Swimming lessons are not a substitute for proper barriers and supervision.

The skills learnt, however, do add a significant additional layer of protection.

When are classes?

3 - 5 YEAR OLDS

My first Swimming Lesson’ is a children’s book  designed to introduce pre school children and their parents to swimming lessons. The swim school recommends reading this book to your child a number of times before lessons commence. The book can purchased at the swim school.

The swim school will loan the book for a short period to new pre school before their first lesson at no charge (if not returned within 2 weeks there will be a $10 charge).

Children who have read this book before starting lessons, adapt more easily to classes.
