Small class sizes focus on individual tuition
We develop children’s abilities from any skill level, including complete beginners
Each child’s skills are individually assessed every lesson
Each child is taught what they need to learn to increase their swimming skills when they need to learn it
Class content depends on individual need, not a pre- set class recipe
A more traditional, structured class appropriate for school- age children than the innovative preschool classes
Our teachers continually focus on safety in and around the water

SKILLS ARE TAUGHT IN A LOGICAL PROGRESSION

Freestyle skills are normally taught first
We first focus on skills that would allow a learner swimmer, who has fallen into water, to return to safety
We progress to learning the full freestyle stroke
As our learners improve, we introduce backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly skills as appropriate.

Swimming lessons are not a substitute for proper barriers and supervision.

The skills learnt, however, do add a significant additional layer of protection.
